Nucleotides are the building blocks of Nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). They are made of a 5-carbon sugar, a base and a phosphate group.
DNA is double helix. The bases are bonded to each other by complimentary base pairing.
In this video we will explore the three differences between DNA and RNA. They differ in the type of sugar used, in one base (T vs. U) and also in the number of strands.
